This is the song or rather part of the Song titled,” Symphonic Poem, “Gloriosa”. It being sung by men and women who religious order from their chapel. Religious order is something like those religious classes or those who like in the world of religions. This a piece written about the Catholic Japanese Christan, known as “Kirishitan”, that have be killed during 1600s and also the songs of the Hidden Christian known as “kakure Kirishitan”. In the piece, ” lactas sacrato ubere ” have change to ” lactas si sacro ubera”

Its quite a sad piece. To me, its a kind of view that how the religion, Roman Catholic Christianity able to survive in japan and also the Hidden Christian how did they survive from the massacre of Christians in Japan.

The 1st movement named, Oratio (Message)

Its a movement that show how the scene how the Hidden Christian was killed.

In the beginning of the piece, the Christians are praying, like their usual morning prayer, singing O Gloriosa Domina for Mother Mary. As they were praying, Samurai were running towards or rather running toward the church. In the meanwhile, the Christians do not know what is happening and carry on their prayers.

Soon after, the samurai have reach the church and began to slaughter the Christian on the way to the praying ground. Everyone is running for their live but some can’t. Those people who manage to run away, ran toward the church and inform the people in the praying ground. Everyone were panicking and trying their best to run away from the church to be alive. But the samurai, have already reach the top. With the Swiftness of the Samurai Swords, heads was rolling all over the place and screaming, shouting, crying were heard and dead bodies were all over the place. The last Christian in the praying ground was killed in the by the Samurai.

The Samurai leave after the have make sure that everyone have died in the area including children, young, old, men and women.

2nd Movement, Cantus (Music)

After the Samurai have left the place, those Christian who have ran away, came back to look at the place. Mist of the morning breeze, smell of blood, atmosphere covered with silence and the whole area was covered with dead bodies and also heads were separate from their bodies.

Survivors crying for their relative and friends that have been killed by the samurai. They were lamenting over the death of their relatives and friends. Crying while they bury them carefully. Doing the Final Prayer to their relatives and Friends.

After they finish their prayers, they continue they journey to look for a place where they can live on. Nagasaki, is the place the hidden Christian have ran to, a place where Christianity was brought to. They do not have any choice but to leave the place. Leaving the place with the emotion of sad, they proceed on to Nagasaki.

3rd movement, Die Festus (The Festival)

Soon After they arrive, Japanese government send samurai to the town and forces everyone to Step on the picture of mother Mary and Jesus as a form of confirmation that they are not christian. Those who do not willing to change will be kill instantly on the spot.

After the Massacre of Christianity, news were spreading that Christianity might be able to brought to Japan, Hidden Christian were very happy, they pray to their god. Thinking of that they have suffered so much and they are able to see this very day. Soon enough, Foreign trades were once again being accepted in japan and many Foreign Christian have came and even set up a Church in Japan.

At the very end, the Hidden Christian were able to live in the day where Christianity is being accepted in japan and there will be no more sufferings. This is the day the have pray to have.

What a long post right ? its just my thoughts after reading the history of the Christianity in japan. So it sure help me in playing the piece better and also allow me to feel more =) hahaha Well i gues it will be that it for today =D will update more =)

Today i wake up early !!!!

BUT !!!!!

I forgot to bring lab coat and wear proper attire to school ==”

Early in the morning, i wake up early, thinking that i might have lab lesson today and i feel it might not be today because i remember my faci nv remind us to bring lab coat. So i went out of the house feeling there is something amiss.

As usual, i went to meet up with Hilda they all than I realize that i’m quite early and surprisingly Eugene was early too, Something good =D. but aizat was not there BECAUSE he OVERSLEPT !!!! and Vanessa was late by a minute or two because she assume everyone will be late. lol.

Walking down the same road and same place, chatting with the same usual people, picking on Hilda as i always do and they weather is always so warm. I saw someone walking pass and said Hi to Van and never say Hi to us, hahaha as usual, like i care about that person. so i went on walking to school and chatting with Samuel and Hilda =D. ( Ignoring that person)

When reaching class, i saw seng hong, a damn hardworking and smart classmate of my in W56L. After i see him, i have a thought that today might have Lab Lesson and i followed him to class and INDEED!!!! today is lab lesson!!! OMG !!!!!! My instinct is so true!!!! but i choose to ignore it !!!! haiz

I decided to skip class and go to library to do some research on the Christianity in Japan because of the piece Gloriosa. Finding books and the rest i went to library and do research and keep doing it until i almost gone crazy about it.

Research on Scales and Musical Term because i want my section to do well in scales =) hehehe its for their own good its like taking vitamin Cs =). Meet up with Aizat and had our lunch and a small session of chit-chatting then we proceed to E1 to relax as Aizat watching his Korean show and starting to talk like a korean LOL!!

After the Games Team meeting, went for band practice. My Sound changes it sounds very funny, i wonder why hmm, but the band was really good =D i’m very happy about it =D and then we play throught some pieces and it was quite fun and interesting as i disturb Aizat hahahahaha. Sarimah get her revenge too =D

Went home with my cute and manly and handsome bibi =) then now i’m at home writing scales. Haiz hahahaha. I’ll stop here, good night bloggy =)

Today was a fun day as i spend my time at my beloved bibi’s house =). Play Piano, Sleep, Play games and also when to supermarket and have a “little Shopping” session =) and today is also our 2nd month anniversary =). Yea !!!!! =) I love to be with bibi =) with bibi i dun feel lost, i dun feel i’m alone. Bibi is my whole life =). I love bibi !!! =D

Today i had a doctor appointment at AMK polyclinic. I wake up at 7.00am ++ and had a shower before i go to the clinic.

Waited for about 1 hour, this is what the doctor say,

” Hi Mr Kong.”

“Hi, Doctor.”

“Have a seat”

“Any problems?”

“I came to see a doctor on Last Thursday and i told the doctor i had a swelling on my cheek, and she ask to come this Saturday for another appointment.”

“hmm okie, now, Open your mouth to about 3 finger big”

“ahhh…”

“do you have any eating problems?”

“no”

“but i still have some numbness on my gums.”

“i suggest that u visit a dentist this few days and there is no swelling salivary glands and it not mumps.”

“okie…”

“do you need any painkillers?”

“nope”

“alright you may proceed to do your payment at counter 9″

“thanks doctor, bye.”

“bye”

that is the conversation =D.

So now i’m should go see a dentist and hahaha it just a toothache i think =)

Recently, i’m strike down by illness again. I’m suspected for mumps infection. (sign)

It all started by that day.

I was feeling very tired after band and my lower right jaw was feeling very painful and also very numb. I also have an ulcer on my lips. then i realize that my lower right jaw was swelling!!! it was so painful and i wanted to go home asap. The gang ( my band members gang) decided to go to Civic Center to have dinner at Macdonald.

On the way we saw something stupid, A guy, dressing somehow like a security guard, sleep against a pillar. Well Aizat took a picture of him. he look dumb and of course, how could a security guard sleep when he suppose to guard the place ? LOL.

We went in and brought our food and eat. After that i remember that we were bitching about ***** and ******. If you know who is it then you know, if you don’t know then too bad =D. We were enjoy bitching ourselves on the train home and also when i reach home, my aching wasn’t anything better.

When i reach home, i was very tired and i went to sleep after i have bath. The next day, i have FYP meeting at 11am but i wakeup at 11.30am due to my feverish head, (FYP stands for Final Year Project). I rush down to school for my FYP meeting and i reach at 12.15pm. Phew i was able to do something before everything end. My friends scare me by saying it is  mumps and they urge me to wear the mask the whole day, so i did.

I call my mum to tell her say i need to see a doc because i have a swelling on my lower jaw. but she say she is working now so when she finish her work she then will call me. After my FYP, which is like 2.00pm++, i meet up with CPC for lunch and then we went to TRCC to chill out.

On the way, we saw Willie and Felicia (Create management ppl but willie is the alumni of RPWS) after saying hi to them, cpc and i carry on to TRCC. We seated outside the lift at the 3rd level and chilling outside and listening to music, everything seems so carefree. Then Eugene Joined us after that CPC said she need to go off for FYP and will be back at 5pm for sectionals.

Soon after, Eugene and myself make our way to the percussion room and i tried out the Bowing of the bow on the vibraphone. It sound so eerie and freaky but its for our choice piece. *hair stand*. After that i had sectionals.

After that i went home with aizat, sarimah, sj, aisah(new tenor sax year 1), derek and Darul. Then we went to eat. we went home after we have finish our food.

when i reach home, my mum was yelling at me why i return home so late and she was asking me about my swelling. I was feeling so painful and tired yet she yell at me. i was of course very pissed off. After that all the yelling she give, i went to bath and fall asleep.

The next day, i went to see doctor at the ang mo kio polyclinic. the doctor could identify is the swelling mumps or other reason, so she ask me to come back again this Saturday for another check ups. Pain was worst and the feeling was like my teeth is going to drop off. Once again i miss the Welcome Tea for RPWS. I have already Miss it for 2 year and plus this gonna be 3 years haiz.

My bibi, Jin, say he will come and find me the next day which is today to accompany me. =D yay !!!

Today bibi came and visit me. I love bibi very much. Thank you bibi for accompanying me the whole day. bibi was there with me and for the moment i feel this is only the 2 of us in the whole world. I cant wait to live alone with bibi =) *cuddle* hehehee i love bibi alot =D muacks.!!!

Tmrw, i’m going for the checkup and i hope it is not mumps and i hope it is some tooth ache =x Wish me all the best and I love bibi XD

Finally i’m back to blog again =D. This time round i’m gonna have a new look here. =D

A lot of things have gone through my mind and i have also settle somethings.

Now everything have done and decided i shall go according to my plan.

I’ll put everything back or i should forget about it and move on my life. I shouldn’t think of the past but move on with my new life.

Back to my life =D. RPWS gonna have the SLA fiesta coming up very soon. Remember to come and watch us at 18th April Agora =D. RPWS’s 1st concert of the year is coming up too. 26th april 2008 is coming WOHOO!!! I like having concerts and i like those kind of feelings. Cuz its like u are working hard towards a goal and also making a great performance to the audience. I dun care how well we have played but the important is how well we have prepare ourselves to the concert.

Result is not as important as the process of working to the goal we have. =D Went out with my baby(Jin) jus now. we went PS to buy baton then in the end the pay haven get yet. i was like sianted lor cuz i tot of buying watchf or my baby and also for myself =D. baby brought me a ring and propose to me =D so sweet rite? hahahaa…

We reach PS and meet up with Gene and Van then we go Yamaha and brought the baton. not bad =D like touch and its cool =). My baby sick le. Headache and flu and cough =( Very sad hor. i’ll make sure my baby will be better =D hahaha. Love baby.

Then i send baby home. then baby say he love my tummy and say my tummy very cute. i was like so lame lor hahahaha. so funny lor. haha i like baby’s cuteness and his native =D so cute lor =). love baby always!!!
